The World Health Organisation recently stated that by 2030, mentalhealth issues will form the biggest burden on health care resources including heart conditions and cancer. Mindfulness-based approaches are recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (Nice) for preventing relapse in patients with recurrent depression, and is successful in half of all cases. Such findings havebeen backed up by neuroscience.

In order to get the benefits I know that Mindfulness needs to bepracticed regularly. And I also know that people achieve more whenin a group where they can motivate and support each other.

In the process of participating in the group you will go on a journeywhereby you will be given the opportunity to practice a set of skillswith a group on a daily basis that will help you transform youremotional state.

This programme was created so that anyone, anywhere, can easilyand effectively learn to practise mindfulness in daily life and enjoythe benefits. Learning and studying mindfulness was one thing, it transformedme in many ways but teaching mindfulness regularly, hascompletely changed my life. The way I feel about my relationshipsand the way I approach and perceive stressful and challengingsituations has dramatically altered and I’m now a lot more resilientto the challenges of everyday life.

My mother was my first mindfulness teacher, but formal journey tobecome a mindfulness practitioner took place in valleys of Srinagar(India) with a Sufi Saint in 1996 as a 17 years old boy and thenfrom different teachers of different sects and religions for next 17years before I began teaching mindfulness in 2013. Therefore my practice blends ancient mindfulness
